San Fernando Valley
Web design in the San Fernando Valley.
From Woodland Hills to Studio City and up to Burbank, I build websites that help a Valley business get found and remembered. Seeing your design is free. If you keep it, it's $375 for my first 10 customers (regularly about $875).
The area
A valley of neighborhoods.
About 1.8 million people live in the San Fernando Valley (2020 Census), in more than thirty neighborhoods of Los Angeles and in the cities of Burbank, Glendale, San Fernando, Calabasas and Hidden Hills.
Its best-known street is Ventura Boulevard, about 18 miles from Woodland Hills through Tarzana, Encino and Sherman Oaks to Studio City.
Where I work
Along the boulevard, and beyond.
Sherman Oaks
278 restaurant permits on the county health department's list, the most of the five communities along Ventura Boulevard.
Woodland Hills
270 restaurant permits, at the boulevard's west end.
Studio City
216 restaurant permits, at the boulevard's east end.
Encino
145 restaurant permits, between Tarzana and Sherman Oaks.
Tarzana
133 restaurant permits, between Woodland Hills and Encino.
Burbank
A city of its own, with about 107,000 people at the 2020 Census and 526 restaurant permits.
Restaurant permits: Los Angeles County Environmental Health's own inventory dated July 1, 2026, counted on October 1, 2026. One place can hold more than one permit. I also work in Van Nuys, Northridge, North Hollywood and the neighborhoods between them.
What works here
What a business here needs from its website.
A reason to pick you
With that many places to choose from, the first screen of your site has to show what only you have: your room, your dish, your story.
Your neighborhood, by name
Sherman Oaks is not Studio City. Say your neighborhood and your cross street in plain words, because that is how people look for a place near them.
Parking and the way in
Where do I park? Put the answer beside the map: the lot, the meters, the entrance. It is often the first thing a new guest wants to know.
What it costs, for a limited time
$875 $375
The launch price for my first 10 customers. After that a website is about $875 again, depending on how complex it is. Either way, you see yours finished before you pay a cent.
How that compares
Next to a local web studio.
The studio column is what three local web studios print on their own websites, read on October 2, 2026.
A local web studio

Me, your neighbor
This page

Questions
Asked in the Valley.
How much does it cost to hire a website designer?
Right now a website from me is $375, a launch price for my first 10 customers. The regular price is about $875, depending on how complex the site is. Either way you see it finished before you pay a cent, and changes and custom work are $80 an hour. For comparison, three web studios near here print $750 to $4,000 for a small site on their own websites (read October 2, 2026).
Which parts of the San Fernando Valley do you cover?
All of it: Sherman Oaks, Encino, Tarzana, Woodland Hills, Studio City, Van Nuys, Northridge, North Hollywood, Burbank and the neighborhoods between them.
My restaurant already takes reservations and orders online. Does that change?
No. Those stay on the systems you already use. Your new site links to them or places them in the page.
Do you work with businesses that are not on Ventura Boulevard?
Yes. A business on a side street or in a shopping center needs its website to work harder, not less.
Nearby
I also build websites for businesses in the Conejo Valley and across Los Angeles County.
